After talking to a number of friends who use ISP phones I downloaded Gizmo.
It's the service Enrique and I use for the Artmetal Podcast interviews.
Supposedly fewer headaches, faster, more reliable and better sound. It also
lets you call outside Gizmo users or lets outsiders call you, the price is
about the same as Skype. It does chats and other things I haven't messed
with.

I don't have anything bad to say about Skype, I understand it's good to
start with and improving but I use Gizmo. Search for "frostworks" on Gizmo
if for some unfathomable reason you'd like voice contact. <grin>
