Greetings,

I don't have any scientific or highly technical information to convey but I
will say thanks for the input to everyone involved. I'm pretty close to
deciding on T-5, 6 fluorescent lamp fixtures equally spaced on a 4x2 grid
(approx 13 ft apart in my space). Lamps are mini bi-pin, 5000K, CRI 85,
about $7 apiece. The desired illumination is 100fc at workplane height of
2.5 ft. I should get more than that using 8 fixtures. The ballasts are
electronic, rated to start at 0 degrees F., cord and plug included. Output
could be lowered at cold temps but probably imperceptible to the eye. All
American made and assembled in FL., approx $160 apiece. Nice blanket of
bright light throughout the shop, switched in banks of two. Task lighting if
I need it.

Regards,
Bill Woolley
