Why does EVERYONE believe that blood suckers are afraid 
of garlic????

Not everyone does. Obviously.

Makes me wonder how these things get started though. 
Could it possibly be because garlic is a natural 
insecticide? Possibly because human beings having tried 
virtually everything including but not limited to the, 
"blind flapping panic," the "screaming, whirling slappy 
dance" and the, "desperation dive into the crocodile 
hole" to escape blood suckers and in their 
experimentation discovered garlic works?

NAW, it's just something Bram Stoker thought up.
