Years ago a local Chev dealership owner bought a seaweed & crab wall
sculpture from me for his wife's anniversary present.  Paid enough
that he was afraid to tell her how much it cost but they both loved
it.  She told me how much she liked it every time I saw her.  Some
years later I asked to photograph it in their house for my show & tell
slides.  And it turned out that (a) it was all very beautifully
overgrown by a thriving ivy houseplant -- very nice efect -- and (b)
they had it hung sideways.  Go, as you say, Figure...

Well, of course, since they hung my piece sideways, I'm at liberty
to show their sun room rotated 90 deg. when I show the slide.  I
hear the granddaughter has inherited it and now has it in the right
orientation. :-)
