[TheForge] Mosquito control in quench bucket?

I have two quench tanks -- a plastic five gallon pail outside, and a
steel ten gallon (or so) oil drum in the garage. I just dump some salt
in the plastic quench bucket -- it's the only one that has mosquito
problems. The salt works fine to stop mosquito larvae. I get some algae,
but only very little.

Subject: [TheForge] Mosquito control in quench bucket?
Help.
I am just starting out as a hobbyist blacksmith, and received a nice old
half oak barrel for father's day. What is the best way to keep out the
mosquitos? I don't think a cover will work because the top is uneven. I
am
looking for something that is cheap, easy, effective and won't
negatively
affect the quench? Am I asking too much?
