[TheForge] Mosquito control in quench bucket?

I use a 55 gal wooden barrel.  I noticed that besides the mosquitos, I also 
have a problem with bacteria, algae, and other smelly things.  I drop a 
dissolving swimming pool bleach tablet into water about once every 4-6 weeks 
depending on the smell.  It gives a very mild bleach smell and doesn't seem 
to afffect the steel quenching or me when I have to reach deep into the 
slack tub for something I dropped.
