Hey Folks,
My sister dropped a kitchen knife on her foot last night and couldn't stop 
the bleeding. I happened to call just after it happened and talked her thru 
basic first aid till the EMS folks arrived.
She is OK after a trip to the emergency room, but it scared me off my butt

There are many other sources.
The new stuff is called Quick Clot ACS  and would be a good item to add to 
your first aid kit.
The training videos are pretty impressive. The military is using it in Iraq 
and Iran for serious trauma and it has already saved many lives.
