Quite a while ago I did a weeked festival demo next to an accomplished
glass blower. He came over to the forge and made a hook. Then I
forged a little one-piece cage affair, went over to his site and
blew a little bottle -- ca. 1/2 pint size -- into the cage.
It was so easy and worked so well that we stood around admiring it
and telling the spectators how clever we were instead of putting it
into the annealing furnace. So by 'n bye it went !ping! and fell
apart.
But Mikey's right: Not hard to do. Finish details probably more time
consuming than the making.
