[TheForge] Welding Rod- 6013?

I have to chime in as well. The quality of a weld is
way more dependant on the weldor than the welder or
rod. (screw spell check! <grin>)

The guy paying the bill gets to write the specs; so as
long as they're not impossible I'll go along. <grin>

On the other hand, I did go down to the local welding
supply and buy a brand new 5lb box of 7018 rather than
use the 10 year old stuff when I thought I might have
to weld up a new corner column for the shop. It was
cheap peace of mind. <grin>

I like 6011 better than 6013 just because I do but will
take either in the field over 70xx. I rarely use a 60xx
in the shop and rely almost exclusively on 7018. Still,
I'm not fussy, if it'll burn I'll give it a lash.
<grin>

it ain't real.
Wrought iron is.
