[TheForge] Forging "Bronze"

Does anyone know what alloy cast brass belt buckles are made from? Someone gave me 10 or 15 lbs. of ingots that came from a belt buckle factory. Can "brass" be forged? This stuff is just sitting in the shop begging for me to do something with it. But, I'd prefer not to die in the process.

Please KNOW what you are forging when working with "bronze". Have you ever seen the effects of beryllium poisoning? This is a hobby that you can die for...
I am not a scary person; I like to get scrap to forge because I'm cheap. I don't forge "bronze" unless I am sure what it is.
