If you're lucky you'll only damage the ram/tup.  We've seen hammers that were 
damaged when the ram/tup crashed out the bottom of the ram guide housing.  No 
noticeable damage to the ram but lots of damage to the hammer main casting 
and ram guide housing.  I'm speaking about Nazel hammers.  I know nothing about 
the import hammers or how they operate.  I'm assuming the principle is 
comparatively the same.
