I just throw my dies on the milling machine once every 6 months or so,
and take off about .010"
More, if needed.
(this is not on a little giant- its a chinese air hammer, but the
principle, and the hardness of the material, is about the same)

A new set of dies is only a couple of hundred bucks, and they are
something like 3" thick. So even if you take an inch off, at my rate it
will take at least 5 to 10 years before I take em down so much I need
new ones.
I assume you are aware that Sid Sudermier stocks virtually every repair
part of Little Giants-
