The Shindig and the ABANA conference are two different
things. Last year, Rich Fizzel on Artmetal decided he
wanted to meet folk in person and threw the first ever,
Artmetal Sandbox Shindig. It was a great time with
everybody who came doing a little or a lot of their
metal thing. We roasted a pig, drank wine, sang and
generally shindigged it up. A few weeks ago, the
weekend before the ABANA conference the second Artmetal
Shindig was had in Woodstock Conneticut at BP Fink's
place.

Next year it's happening in Minnesota. A couple or few
years down the road it's happening here in Meadow Lakes
Alaska.

Okay, that's the background on what Mike and I are
talking about, Mike having attended the first Shindig,
partook of roast pig and general shindiggery. So, he's
suggesting I finagle some of the metal casters sure to
attend the Alaskan Shindig into helping with the pour.

Your idea has real merit though Steve. I get to make a
really BIG HOT fire, eat pig and have the fine folk at
ABANA ship the leftovers home. I like it. . . A LOT!
