[TheForge] was Oil fired forge now wrist problems

I have a standard soft pad under my wrist at the keyboard, but still had
problems. So, my soft pad is sitting on top of a crude piece of 2 x 4.
Works well. Look at piano players. How they keep their wrists up. That is
the stance you want to keep.

Also, I noticed that when I slept that I tended to place my arms so that my
hands were kinked at an angle, sometimes almost 90 degrees. So these days I
keep the wrist straight when sleeping.

my problem is i over use the right hand because the left hand and arm
issues. the right wrist really flared up after using the sawzall and it
bucked hard and all that force went into the right wrist.
i am also on tramadol, every 6 hours, so i over do it because i do not
feel the pain till later.

<snip>

agree on the keyboards. i am basically one-handed typing so that
introduces all neew stress to the hands and wrist.

thank you for the information.
