Hi all.

This is just a quick note to let you all know where it is, and who has
it. I'm still up to my ears here, and I don't know if Bill Clemens has
gotten home yet, so pass the message to him, if you well.

It is currently in the possession of Sven Redbeard (svenrb at comcast.net
) (which is his SCA name) who is the Baron of Tacoma, WA, area. I have
told him that, barring any changes by Bill, he may hold on to it for
at least a couple of weeks, and, unless someone else needs it in the
interim, he would like to hold on to it until another SCA event in
September. He is making it available to other SCA events in the
meantime- if there are other ABANA meetings that would like to see it,
please contact him.

He's a beginning smith, who had already attempted to make several of
the pieces, and he's just thrilled to be the one with it in his
possession. He's also well enough known that he won't just vanish ;-)

Bill, if you read this, I sold 5 copies of the Mastermyr book- as soon
as you send me your address, and I get home, I'll send you the money.
Rest of the copies Sven either has, or knows where they are.

There was a donation made to the collection, a piece of elk horn
similar to the piece in the book. There's also a mystery piece that
appeared in the collection- a pattern-welded knife. If someone can
describe it more accurately, we'll send it along, or if anyone knows
where it came from, please let us know.
