Being self taught has certain advantages, you don't 
have some of the preconcieved notions one might learn 
from books, at a school or from a mentor. Of course you 
might end up trying something for years without 
figuring out what you're doing wrong, what's 
impossible, etc. Then again sometimes you figure out 
something EVERYBODY knows can't be done.

Tools ARE highly refined dirt so it wasn't such a 
stretch. <grin>

Now, put your hat back on Pete. Unless you're in the 
house of course. <grin>
