hello;

amongst items i collected over 20 yrs were dead hard drives.
i have boxes of several hundred dead hard drives. i have several boxes
of just hard drive cases from drives i have taken apart over the years.

other than weighing each case and volume to make an educated guess of
the base metal used in the case.

would anyone have any suggestions as to determining with some level of
certainty what the base metal is?
