[TheForge] ABANA cook-out

I can drive. I have an out back Subaru. I will be no help with the area as I
try to avoid Seattle unless I need to go there. I do have a GPS with turn by
turn so I can find my way to the dinner.

My cell is (425) 445-9626. It does not work at my house so if you need to
call me please do it Wed night or during the conference.

Cheers
Martin

OK, this is the list I have of those intending to attend. If I've missed you
somehow ( a couple of people have emailed me privately- think I caught you
all, but I've had very limited computer access the last few days, so post to
this topic, please, if I missed you).

George Rousis
Ries Niemi
Darrell
Steve Smith
James Binnion
Martin Paietta
Terry Burch
Robert J Hill
Justin Fellenz
Dan from Auburn

Next, the address will be 6206 25th Ave NE

My cell phone is 860-608-5851

For the gentleman with the wheelchair- we do have steps, but we can save you
a dozen, up a porch, and down another, if you let me know how wide your
wheelbase is. There's a path to the side of the house we can get you through
on, from which I've been removing weeds, and I'll check it and remove a few
more if necessary. Please, however, bring a non-powered chair if you have
one. Otherwise, I can teach the guys how to carry you, if necessary, with
both your anatomy and your dignity intact ;-) Even if you can walk a bit, I
don't want to risk you screwing up your feet unless absolutely necessary.

And, I had thought the Conference was at UW, which is walking distance, but
apparently, where it actually is, is 5 miles from here, so we'll need rides.
We'll need to carpool, so we have a minimum of
cars- traffic and parking in this area really do suck.

Intended menu:

Salmon
Sausages
Spinach salad with hot bacon dressing
Cheesecakes
Baked onions
Might be a couple of Asian specialties, compliments of Ngan's mother

Coffee and tea will be available- otherwise, it's BYOB

Planning assembling at 7 PM Friday. I WILL need a ride, but I think we can
work that out at the conferance.

Anybody know the area well enough that we can designate an assembly point?

Saint Phlip

Don't like getting old? Beats the Hel out of the alternative.

The purpose of life is not to arrive at the grave, a beautiful corpse,
pretty and well-preserved, but to slide in sideways, thoroughly used up,
totally worn out, proclaiming, "Wow! What a ride!"
