I grew up in Missouri (but live in Seattle now).  It's a nice place.  It's
really cold in the winters (or it was, anyway), and really hot in the
summers.  Columbia is a nice town; a college town, too.

It is hilly, but not overly so.  The leaves in the fall are pretty.  You
would like it, I think. :)
