Bruce,

Columbia is a good college  town.  University of Mo.  Even thought it 
isn't the state capitol,  it has the capitol rank for many branches 
of  Federal Government.  25 years ago  when I was headquartered out 
of there.. I thought that it felt like a nicer town than Des 
Moines.   Just lots of good memories of Columbia Mo.  Primarily in 
Boone County as I recall.   I liked Columbia better than either 
Kansas City, or St Louis.  I think that there is a BAM / ABANA 
conference usually about the first week end in  May, but I think that 
is held closer to St Louis .
