We have had a lot of discussion about design.  One of the things that we
haven't discussed is the implimentation of the design.  If there is a sharp
edge or burr in the header that will make the nails stick.  You can take a
piece of emery cloth and rip it down small enough to fit in the hole and
polish the hole to make sure there are no sharp edges.  Don't get too
agresive or you can change the size nai it will make.
