[TheForge] Electric Blower question

If on your lowest setting you've got too much air then you've got too much
blower. I've got a blower from an old 1950's air raid siren. It looks like
a yellow Champion blower. I took the gearing off and put a direct drive fan
motor on it. Wide open it will blow the coal out of my fire pot. I've found
I can choke it down by restricting the input. I use a flap of tin that I
rotate over the intake to choke the inflow. I also have an air-gate between
the blower and the tuyere for the fine adjust.

If your using a squirrel cage blower, they do not like output restrictions.
Try choking the input instead.
