[TheForge] Buying hardware stores.

Another real hardware store just closed in Milwaukee.
Being the addict that I am I dropped a few hundred $..

Among the obviously useful things a couple of grand worth of black pipe 
fittings. Most of this went into my shops boiler piping stock and will 
get used quickly.
Attached to this was about two bushels of assorted 1/8, 1/4 & 3/8 inch 
pipe fittings and nipples.

There is no way on earth that I will ever build that many forges or run 
that much air line or pneumatic controlling, much less gas lighting 
which I am guessing was the original intent. (I told you this was a real 
hardware store.)

Anyone in the Milwaukee area who wants small stuff for a forge ping me 
off list.
I will also probably bring a bucket to the next UMBA gathering that I 
attend.

I also have about 50 lbs of  1" through 1/64" hex keys. Most are in the 
3/4 to 3/8  range and I am guessing grade 5.

Anyone have suggestions?

Other finds miscellaneous hinges latches etc that I will be parting out 
to friends , two brand new 20ft wooden extension ladders ($50 ea.) and 
the pipe rack that I have been meaning to build.

Darn near busted my trailer driving home.
