Sigmund Freud said the purpose of life is to work and to love (and I'm sure he wrote it with a fountain pen).

Phlip,

I actually like country, and I feel for you.

Looks like we're back to whiskey as a means of survival for that evening.

So there it is...whoever wrote the email seems to have isolated the great essential needs--good whiskey, good women (or men, as you prefer), a good pen, and good tools. Leisure, love, communication, and production. From those four spring the ten thousand things, as the ancient Chinese sages would say.

Lucille all night long is what we might call a "by-product."

A "good" country song, is one I never EVER hafta listen to...

Phlip, who still hasn't quite recovered from the evening at an event she
couldn't leave, when someone played "Lucille" all night. No, I'm neither
kidding or exagerating.
