[TheForge] Anvil Wanted

I'm a member of several Freecycle groups in the Sacramento area.  On a
whim, I put out a "wanted: anvil" notice and got a response.  A lovely
man who used to demonstrate at an historic fort in Arkansas gave me his
portable forge, 5 inch post vise and a great anvil!!  

The anvil is about 110 lb., in good shape and beats the heck out of the
harbor freight Russian model I had!

Bought my 220# about 10 years ago, just south of Terre Haute, IN.  for
$250.  See it had this crack around the waist . . . (Parting line from
the manufacture of the anvil).  The guy dealt in blacksmithing
equipment, too.
