Good tools are worth paying for. If you're making your living at
smithing and you are scrounging fro the cheapest thing, you need to
sstart rethinking that. Bargains are great when they fall in your lap,
but spending you time looking for them is, from a business standpoint, a
complete waste of time. If you can't afford the best, get a loan. If
you can't make enough at what you're doing to pay back the loan, you
probably need to find another way to make a living. These issues are
quite clear cut in virtually all cases. Wasting resources to get an
anvil for $2 a pound instead of just buing a fine one at $4 a pound is
foolishness. If you're just screwing around for the fun of it, then
forget what I've said.
