Might I ask who sells this? I have to fix a brass bed  with a cast iron 
connection for the side rails.
The cast iron is cast right on to the end of the angle iron (conical 
mandrel type extrusion). The head-board has the neg
of it , which is the receiver. I'm not sure how the cast receiver is 
joined to the head-board I have not explored that far yet.
one of  the H-B receivers is broken  in two, half remains on the brass 
tubing H-B.
