Google turned up http://www.ssschemical.com/index.html when I entered "triblack g". Interesting outfit - they sell lots of patina chemicals, and the prices looked reasonable. They have use instructions for the product. I emailed them about an msds.
Here's a thought: Rather than use patina chemicals to dye galvanized, why not use organic dye to dye the green plastic-coated stuff? Possibly shoe dye (available in shoe repair shops) would work.
Or better, find a source and buy it: http://www.datsonfence.com/images/scan67.jpg (for example)

I am doing a repair job on a local, old cemetery. The
commission wants me to run very rust-resistant chain
between granite posts. The chain will be 3/8" stock,
250' long. So the question is...
I was hoping to find a place that sells
black-galvanized chain but was unable to find any via
the web. I called local galvanizers but the cost was
going to be very expensive. So does anyone know where
I can get "pre-made" black galvanized chain?
If I cant find anyplace, I plan on using regular
silver-galvanized and dye it with "Triblack G" which
is designed to patina galvanize black. Does anyone
have good/bad experience with this stuff?
Alternately if I could find some plastic coated stuff
like McMaster-Carr sells in black (all they have is
green) that would probably work too.
Thanks alot for your help,
Brian
