<My company> has become aware of a new email identity theft scam that appears to come from the Social Security Administration. These emails may state that someone illegally is using your Social Security number and assuming your identity"and direct the recipient to a website designed to look like Social Security's Internet website. ·    These emails attempt to trick the recipient into providing Social Security information. ·    IMPORTANT: These emails do not come from the Social Security Administration. If you receive them, delete them immediately. Do not click on the link or respond to them in any way.
