Great film.  Thanks.  They seem to have specialty anvils for the type of work they do most.  The anvils appear to be mounted considerably higher than knuckle height.

This was sent to me by Dave Brown. Very neat black and white video of a 
blacksmith making nails in a small shop. The next sequence he and a 
helper are making something that could be a leaf or a small blade or 
??? Then a water powered sawmill.

Played best for me with Real Player but??

ps. If anyone can translate the captions on the video (there is no 
sound) it would be interesting.
