[TheForge]Porter's Burners was: Didymium? I say "no way."

Mike, so far all I've made is the small 1/2" pipe burner (with advanced
options). The list is very long, these things take awhile.
There is a *very* clear difference between the flame of your burner and
the Reil type burner (with and without the mig accelerator). Reil
burners put out a steady flame, but in comparison with yours the Reil
burner is noisy and turbulent. Your burner puts out a nice smooth flame
with a clear inner cone, something I haven't seen in the dozen or so
Reil burners I've built. Nothing wrong with Reil burners--they do the
job and are easier to put together. I suspect yours will go hotter and
maybe be more efficient, but no chance to verify (in my crude fashion).
I've got a 3/4 on the list...
I admire how much effort you put into making the burners accessible to
anyone with simple hand tools, but it took a lot of re-reading to figure
out how the thing went together so I could modify your approaches to a
shop with a welder, lathe, mill. Maybe one detailed drawing? There are
limitations on how much you can put in the book too, I realize.
