Side stream smoke is of little or no consequences. The
best study I ever read was on the Japanese. The wives
of smokers were not any more likely to have problems
than wives of nonsmokers. And they smoke a lot!
When you read the papers of the dangers of side
stream, not second hand (another argument) be sure to
see who funded the research. About as useful as the
studies showing smoking was not harmful funded by
tobacco companies.
Most fun was the Surgeon General at the time C.
Everate Coope (sp?) when asked why he promoted a study
showing side stream smoke was harmful when it had been
shown to be bad science said "but it was for a good
cause."
Just my views,
