hello;

car bombs, are a relatively fast moving projectile. remember back in
school, force equals mass times acceleration? f = ma

terrorists can pack a lot of explosives into a car and they do not
particularly care who they kill. they sure do not care about getting
caught driving the car because they are intent on killing themselves and
take as many as possible with them and injuring many more.

the madrid train bombing, they used backpacks detonated using cellular
telephones.
the nearly the same method was used in the london, england subway and
bus bombings, except there they killed themselves by manually detonating
the bombs.

perhaps the terrorists have figured out that americans have such a lust
for oil that there is no body count that would change it. more likely
they are waiting.
