For those familiar with the discount sales from www.sportmansguide.com 
They are selling military surplus Dutch tongs for $14.97. They're calling
them antique horseshoe pincer. Enter item # AX6M-96319 in the site search.
They are big ol' tongs that look like a bolt tong to me. I bought 2 of them.
I belong to the Buyer's club so I got them for $13.47 each. I going to
modify one into a hammer head tong and keep the other as is for now. 
Whatever they were for originally, I'd say it was for some heavy duty work.
My first order came with a tong ring and the 2nd did not. I believe they
would be good for using with power hammers.
