Lynn,
Silicon Bronze forges beautifully. There is a lil learning curve
regarding the correct forging temp. but if you forge it in the "soft
red" stage..which is better seen in a darker/shaded area.......you'll
find it forges like clay. IF forged to hot.........it'll crumble on you.
The first thing I thought of when I read your email...was ... ..it's
to bad you can't cast them. It is very easy to make a mold of "hands"
in different positions and then use wax for your patterns to burn out
and cast in whatever material you desire. Silicon Bronze pours great
too. fwiw
