When my Old Blue starts behaving badly, eg: slows appreciably, skips a beat
or two, hangs, etc. I cycle some air compressor fluid through it. First shut
off air and bleed system. I pull the hoses from the cylinder. Pull one of
the lines at the compensator and squeeze in about 4-5 decent squirts of fluid
and re-attach it. Then turn on the air and cycle so everything flows through
the valving. I catch the discharge in a coffee can while holding on to a
flopping cylinder hose. Sometimes have to do this process twice.
