Better get a back-up system- old furnace blower, clothes dryer blower, etc;
get something adapted to the fittings on your forge. It will croak when you
need it most.

Thanks for all the replies on my blower.Took it to the motor repair shop 
yesterday.The motor still ran but real slow and didn't blow enough do do any

good anymore.It's an old champion that wasn't in real good shape when I got 
it about 7 years ago.But since I got it it's gone thru about 7 tons of 
coal.He put in new brushes and it helped a little.He said the bearings were 
getting bad and it probably didn't pay to rebuild it.Because of the motor 
shape and support bracket it would be really hard to replace just the 
motor.When I got it home as a last hope I put WD40 in the oil holes and blew

it in with air a couple times with the motor running.Followed with regular 
oil.Used it all morning and it worked fine.Must have just needed a break for
