[TheForge] OT snowfall

Stephen,

The ground is basically free of snow  ( bare ground ) from Des 
Moines, Iowa to Minneapolis, Minnesota. The only exception is where 
ski slopes have snow making machines for ski- lifts.

This is the warmest winter that I can remember in my 54 years.
