Yeah, the injections are bad enough but what I really 
hate is taking it in the liquid form!

I don't know about casting being nasty. You have to 
have a really HOT fire, it's dangerous and you get to 
wear cool looking gear. Of course you don't to hit 
things with hammers much when you're casting so I guess 
that's a serious drawback.
