Generally, all flatters are set hammers, but not visa-versa.
Set hammer as a general term seems to mean any handled tool used 
at the anvil that is struck with a proper hammer.
As a more specific term it's a small flatter used to accurately 
dress inside corners , steps and the like.
Sounds like you have the wherewithall to make most of the other 
stuff you might need...congrats....and condolences on the middle 
age paunch....pete f
