The SIZE of that thing inspired me to try to find it in an aerial
photograph.  Mapquest turned out to have better shots of the new athens,
oh, area than did google, and I saw only two strip mines in the area.  I
zoomed in enough that I could easily see an object the size of a house,
but no luck.  Couldn't find it.  Too bad the lighting wasn't oblique.  I
once got a really good look at the SHADOW of the St. Louis arch on one
of these sites.  Don't know if it's still there.

Gotta give it to them, whoever those aliens are who are trying to
convice us the world is round, we've been to the moon, and that there's
something beyond this computer screen... They're doing a damned good
job!
