Oh Yes. It would be much better. But I would have to give up my  satellite tv 
and go to cable tv and pay for the cable internet. Cable is the  only 
broadband option where I live as they have not run fibre optics out this  way. More 
importantly, it would cost me another $40+ per month plus some hookup  costs. I 
provide a lot of services and chores for my neighbor, a blonde,  younger, 
divorcee and she repays me by allowing me this access. The $500 plus  per year 
savings for this is well worth the cost of some form of antenna gain. 
 
Kindest thanks for the suggestions re cantenna, etc. I'm gonna  order 
something tomorrow.
