Andy,

Last 6 years, I have bought and sold on ebay.  Also I've watched a  lot of
others, trying to figure out what one person does well, and the next does
poorly.

Ebay used to have a thing 7 photos for  a dollar.  I think that more
photos sell better than just one.  Acurate -positive- product descriptions
can help reduce the risk of neg  feedback.

Watch a few sales of things similar to what interests you, and try and
emulate the good stuff, and avoid what you determine to be bad.

Sometimes, it is just a matter of timing.  Who, which buyers are looking
and who -all- are bidding.  You can do everything right,  be lucky, or
not.

I had a home buyer -prospect- lady telling me that, -she-  earns more
money selling specialty fabric on ebay than her husband makes as a grain
terminal manager.
