Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with using a hot-water heater
(as opposed to a proper boiler) to heat a shop. I've seen some references
to such things on some of the other newsgroups, but not much on details. My
shop is (will be) about 300 SF, well insulated and in NH. I'd like to keep
the temp just above the dew-point in the spring/fall, and around 40 in the
winter. I don't have a clue how much it would cost to heat such a space
using either gas or electric - I'm coming from heat-pump land with
relatively warm winters. Any thoughts or experience? It is worth the
effort to go the hot-water route, or with that small space would straight
electric be reasonable?
Any thoughts welcome.
Thanks,
don
