I usually just make my own.
I use a ball end mill in my milling machine for round head rivets-
Grizzly, Enco, and MSC sell cheap ones for 10 bucks or so. Grizzly has
a whole set of ball end mills for only 40 bucks.
With a vise clamped down, you could use one in a drill press. Run it as
slow as you can, use some lube, and it will put a nice hemispherical
hole in your steel.
I seldom bother to even use good steel- A36, heat and water quench,
they last a while.
