Don't buy a cheap no-name cutoff saw- you can get away with a HF band saw
for years, but a cheap cutoff saw let us down during a demo at Madison.

Justin, I've had really good luck with my Jet cut off saw. It's about 18
years old now - still works well.

I've decided to add a cutoff saw to my collection, and I am seeking advice:

any brands better/worse than the others?
is the Harbor Freight stuff too junky, or a reasonable alternative?

I know some of you guys are opinionated, so what do you say?
