[TheForge] Any recommendations on cutoff saws? Brands, etc?

I bought a $135 chinese bandsaw over 20 years ago and it's still
running...well, the frame, wheels and gearbox and some other
parts are still original anyway. It's got 600,000 miles on it and
doesn't owe me anything.
RE our discussion of Harbor Fright...their cheapie IR air hammers
are a lot of tool for a few bucks. They'll do a heck of a lot of
work for a long time....if you keep 'em oiled.
Dealing with HF is a lot like going to a casino....sometimes you
come out OK...but in the long run, the house wins.....pf
