[TheForge] Any recommendations on cutoff saws? Brands, etc?

I like a horizontal vertical band saw myself. 7" x 12"
Jet with coolant for under $1,000 in Alaska.
A hot saw (abrasive cutoff) is good for light stock
like exhaust tubing that might strip the teeth off a
bandsaw blade unless you're into changing them a lot.
I've used the dry cut saw at work and it frankly
doesn't care what you put in it, I've lopped RR rail in
a few seconds but it's a 3hp. 2ph. moose. I don't even
want to know what it cost. Doesn't matter anyway, 3ph
is about half a million from me.

Wrought iron is.

I've decided to add a cutoff saw to my collection, and
I am seeking advice:
any brands better/worse than the others?
is the Harbor Freight stuff too junky, or a reasonable
alternative?
I know some of you guys are opinionated, so what do you
say?
