This is just a clarifying followup to my own earlier remarks.

On seeing quoted in other posts what I wrote:

I suddenly realize that it suggests that the skill to run a business
equates to ignorance and the temperament to do requires stupidity.

Gak!  Cringe.

At the risk of belaboring an already tangential point, I have to say
that I didn't mean that and don't want to suggest even slightly that
Ries is either stupid or ignorant.

I *meant* to say that MY LACK of biz skills is similar to ignorance,
in that it might be curable were I to make the effort;  and that my
lack of the right temperament was similar to stupidity, probably not
curable.

Sorry for the digression but I really didn't want anyone to believe
that I was charging Ries (or anyone els with business ability, for
that matter) of ignorance and stupidity.
