I generally have to buy new tools on an annual basis,
not because of wear or theft, I just need new tools.

I buy quality and I buy cheap also. It depends on the
need and the amount of money in my pockets.

I have a 30 year Sears sabre saw, that is in great
condition but it doesn't get used every day, while my
electric hand drills get used every week. Sometimes I
need a tool for a one time job, and then I give it to
the local vocational school or some local metal artist
that is just beginning in their careers.
